We are a locally owned family business founded in 1984 by John Spicer. In January 2012, John transferred ownership to Mrs. Susan Spicer, our current president, who has been involved in operations since 1999.

Crest has the resources, experience and professional staff to meet any supply or design need our customers may have. We offer complete delivery, installation and warehousing capabilities. Crest has a fleet of delivery trucks that allows us to deliver equipment quickly and efficiently. Our certified foodservice professional staff is the most knowledgeable in the region.

Company Philosophy: To provide tested and proven design solutions for your commercial foodservice layout needs, as well as equip any foodservice facility from the mop to the tabletop with all kitchen needs. FSDC and Crest offer the guidance, support and follow through to help kitchen operators stay on budget and meet all code requirements. We offer real solutions to layout/design concerns, budgetary reviews and value engineering to supply the best equipment for the best price and keep our customers on budget.

John Spicer: As CEO & founder for Crest John is responsible for defining the company’s strategic goals and objectives. He has more than four decades experience in the industry. Prior to purchasing Crest in 1984, John served as Foodservice Equipment Sales and Facility Design representative for Ezekiel & Weilman (1972-1977), and John G. Kolbe Company (1977-1984). In addition to founding Crest, John is a founding member of PRIDE Marketing & Procurement, a dealer-owned organization comprised of over 125 food service equipment and supplies dealers from around the United States and Canada. In 2001, John won the esteemed MAFSI Dealer of The Year award. He also holds the prestigious “Certified Food Service Professional” (CFSP) certification from the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM). Crest attributes much of its success to John’s vision and leadership which has inspired a superior level of pride and dedication in both employees and customers alike.
